Desert Planet 03
8000x4000 seamless, equirectangular planet texture of a generic desert-like planet. Includes dedicated diffuse, bump, specular, cloud, and light maps all generated using Blender and Gimp. Two different light maps were created to resemble different kinds of planet population: urban and rural. These can be used individually or combined for varied lighting effects.
Most of my work is completely free to use by anyone, and I encourage their distribution. My goal is to create a one-stop-shop for planets. My only stipulation:

Desert Planet 03
Texture set includes diffuse, bump, specular, cloud, and light maps.
Desert Planet 03 V2. I think it fits more of a "barren" theme rather than "desert," hence why I didn't make it the poster-child for Desert Planet 03.
Desert Planet 03 V3. It's my personal favorite of the three versions, but not what I would necessarily consider a "desert" biome.
